MANTARAY FILM and LUCKY DOGS are joining forces to collaborate on the Nordic documentary FIRE, WATER, EARTH, AIR. Following several screenings in collaboration with Tempo Landet Runt, drawing full houses, the film continues its journey to cinemas this autumn!
The film is a Nordic co-production between Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Faroe Islands, weaving together everyday life and personal stories from small communities across the four countries.
“I’m grateful that FIRE, WATER, EARTH, AIR will now reach Swedish cinema audiences with Lucky Dogs as its distributor. Through the film, I want to contribute, get involved and inspire hope through preparedness and a sense of community. We can all make a difference, and by working together, we can achieve more. This will help ensure that both nature and people are better prepared to face the climate challenges of today and the future,” says Ewa Cederstam, director.
“Our need for Nordic collaboration is truly reflected in the production of this innovative film. At every level, it has been an attempt to create a more climate-conscious production, with four directors and four producers working together to make a film set across our four Nordic countries, supported by our film institutes and broadcasters. An incredibly challenging but also rewarding process,” says Stina Gardell, producer at Mantaray Film.
