BLOOD CALLS YOU AT TEMPO FESTIVAL
We are very happy for the nomination of Blood Calls You for the Tempo festival's Award TDA.
The film will be shown during the festival and the director Linda Thorgren and producer Stina Gardell are invited to participate in a seminar: "How close should I get?" with a starting point from the film.
Tempo Documentary Festival 10th - 14th of March shows around 100 swedish and international films.
TEMPO FESTIVAL - PITCH REWARD 2010
This year’s winner of the Tempo Pitch at Tempo Documentary Film Festival was awarded at Bio Rio in Stockholm. Out of six nominees, Nur Tutal and Ivan Blanco won with their project DET BOR EN HEMMAFRU I MIG (THE HOUSEWIFE WITHIN ME), produced by Stina Gardell and MANTARAY FILM. The jury consisted of Charlotte Hellström from Swedish National Television,@Tove Torbiörnsson from the Swedish Film Institute and Jesper Bergom-Larsson, Filmregion Stockholm-Mälardalen. The jury’s motivation: "Tempo Pitch 2010 – Sweden’s largest documentary pitch award of 75,000 SEK – goes to a courageous and charged project that challenges norms and values. We have no idea where the project will land, but we hope that this powerful troika will take us on an inner as well as an outer journey. We wish you bon voyage!"

”THE NUN” WINS PRIX ITALIA 2007!
Filmmaker Maud Nycander and producer Stina Gardell were both in Verona to collect the prestigious award. The Nun was awarded the prize for best TV- Documentary – Cultural and General Interest, in competition with 41 films from 25 countries.
MANTARAY FILM IN CANNES
During his production Ingmar Bergman filmed with his own private cinema camera. Stig Björkman has directed a film out of the material.
Stig Björkmans film "Images from the playground", supported by Martin Scorsese World Film Foundation and Ingemar Bergman, had premiere in Cannes may 2009.
